How to choose machinery for PVC and aluminium
Seven questions worth asking yourself before requesting a quote. Your answers also help us recommend exactly what you need.
Request a quote1. Which material do you work most?
Aluminium needs very accurate cuts and mechanical assembly (crimping, T-joints). PVC is welded, so the 45° cut and hardware milling matter.
2. How many pieces a month?
Volume decides the level of automation: a single-head saw and a copy router for a few windows a week; an electronic double-head saw and later a CNC centre for daily production.
3. Which profiles and systems?
Profile width and height set the cutting capacity; the system sets the machining you do.
4. How much space do you have?
A double-head saw for full bars is 5–7 m long, plus room to handle the bars. LGF data sheets give the footprint of each machine.
5. Compressed air and three-phase power?
LGF pneumatic machines work at 7 bar and many have three-phase motors.
6. Who will run the machines?
A new operator works more safely on an electronic machine with lengths entered on screen.
7. Who provides service?
In Romania, LGF machines are commissioned, operators trained and serviced by LGF România.
