Milling aluminium and PVC profiles

Three kinds of milling appear in almost every workshop: cut-outs for hardware, transom end milling for T-joints and drainage slots. Each has its dedicated machine.

Copy routers: locks, handles, hinges

A copy router follows a template to reproduce the cut-out on the profile. It is the classic, fast and accurate solution for repetitive cut-outs.

End milling of transoms

For a T-joint, the end of the transom must be milled to the exact shape of the mullion it meets. LGF machines use a cutter stack on the spindle; Ronda Digit also handles curved frames.

Can I mill locks with a portable copy router?

Yes, for occasional work or on site there are portable models such as Trac. For daily production a bench copy router is more comfortable.

What is a cutter stack?

Several cutters mounted together on the same spindle, giving the complete end profile in one pass.

Need a specific milling job?

Send us the profile and the drawing of the cut-out. We will tell you which machine does it most simply.
